A digest of professional wrestling news for the morning of September 4, 2019:

New All Elite Wrestling Chris Jericho (real name Christopher Jerry Koe) reportedly filed a police report in Tallahassee yesterday for a lost or stolen “championship wrestling belt.” As of press time, the belt has not yet been recovered.
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) surprised fans last night with the unexpected unveiling of its new American East-West (AEW) Championship. According to a press release, the idea for the new championship “just suddenly came to” WWE mogul Vince McMahon.
According to backstage sources within WWE, semi-retired wrestler Barry Darsow, better known as Repo Man, has been re-hired by the company as a “special consultant.”
